All your AI chats. Finally under control.

Chatsavo reads only the chats the AI site's page has already loaded for you and sends no requests of its own to the site. The extension never sees or forwards your password, cookies or sign-in tokens. A chat is deleted from the AI site only if you click "Delete" yourself and confirm.

Chat texts, folders and the search index are stored only in your browser, in the extension's storage. Our server receives only your key (once payments launch), a random device ID, the browser and the extension version, and, once the license server launches, a hash of the device ID and subnet at trial start. Chat texts never go to the server — except an AI summary, when you request one yourself (coming soon). Note that local data is not encrypted, so anyone with access to your browser profile can read it. Details are in the privacy policy.

Chatsavo searches the text of chats you've opened since installing: it reads only what the AI site has already shown you. An older chat becomes searchable as soon as you open it. On the free version full-text search covers 200 chats and newer ones are found by title; Pro has no limit.

Saved chats, folders and search keep working: they are stored on your side, not on the site. The panel may temporarily stop appearing, or new chats may not be saved. We ship a fix as a new version, usually within a few days. While you're on the early zip version, download the new version from /install; once the extension is in the stores, updates will arrive on their own. Current state is on the status page.

Yes. You need Chrome 116 or later, another browser based on Chromium 116+ (Edge, Yandex Browser, Opera, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi), or Firefox 140+. The Firefox build is not yet signed by Mozilla and is installed manually as a temporary add-on. Load it again after restarting Firefox, and download your JSON data before closing the browser; files up to 25 MB are restorable in this version. Nothing is deleted. After 7 days of Pro you move to the free version: all folders and saved chats stay, and search over what is already saved keeps working. New chats are saved on two sites of your choice. Downloading all your data as JSON ("Download everything (JSON)") is always free; this version restores Chatsavo JSON files up to 25 MB. The trial needs no card, so there is no automatic charge.

Not yet: import from popular ChatGPT extensions is planned for one of the next updates. You do not need to move the chats themselves — Chatsavo picks them up from the AI site, and you can drag them into folders.

Sync is coming soon to Pro. It will be end-to-end encrypted: data is encrypted in your browser with a key derived from your passphrase, and our server stores only ciphertext it cannot read. Important: if you lose both the passphrase and the recovery code, synced data cannot be recovered. Until sync launches, everything stays on one device.

Yes: payment in rubles via YooKassa will be available at launch. Every ruble payment comes with an electronic fiscal receipt under Russian Federal Law 54-FZ. Meanwhile you can try Pro free for 7 days, no card needed.

5 devices. A device is a browser on a specific computer. Device management arrives together with payments: you'll be able to free a slot in the extension settings or in your account, and devices not seen for 30 days will be released automatically on the next activation.

In the extension, open Settings → Your data → Delete all data and confirm. This erases folders, saved texts and the index; chats on the AI sites themselves are not affected. You can download your data as JSON first; files up to 25 MB can be restored into an empty data store later — see the instructions. Removing the extension also erases local data.
