Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and seller details will be published before payments open (registration number at the same time, address: at the same time) for using the Chatsavo extension and buying Pro. By installing the extension, you accept these terms for the free version. By paying for Pro, you accept them in full.

What Chatsavo is

Chatsavo is a browser extension that organizes your AI assistant chats into folders and searches their text. It currently supports ChatGPT and Claude. Gemini, Grok and Alice are in testing; DeepSeek, Perplexity and GigaChat come later.

Chatsavo is an independent product. We are not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Sber or Yandex. Site names are used only to state what the extension works with.

Versions and free trial

  • The free version works indefinitely with the limits listed on the pricing page.
  • Free trial: 7 days of Pro after installation, no card, no automatic charge.
  • Pro is unlocked with a key. A key works on 5 devices; a device is a browser on a specific computer.
  • The Savo All bundle: one key unlocks Pro in Chatsavo and future Savo products.
  • When the trial or Pro ends, your data is not deleted: folders and saved chats stay, and the full JSON data download ("Download everything (JSON)") is always available; files up to 25 MB are restorable in this version.

Payment

  • Prices and plan contents are on the pricing page. The price is fixed at the time of payment.
  • Ruble payments are processed through YooKassa, with an electronic fiscal receipt under Russian Federal Law 54-FZ sent to the e-mail you enter.
  • Dollar payments are coming later through Paddle, which will act as the reseller (Merchant of Record); Paddle's buyer terms will apply to those purchases.
  • Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) renew automatically until you cancel. We remind you 3 days before a charge if we have a way to reach you. You can cancel auto-renewal in your account or by e-mailing support — as easily as you subscribed. After cancellation, Pro works until the end of the paid period.
  • Lifetime is a one-time payment for Pro with no end date, for current and future Chatsavo versions for as long as we support the product. Features with AI costs (such as AI summaries) may have a monthly limit; the current limit is on the pricing page and we may change it with advance notice.
  • If a subscription charge fails, we retry over several days. If payment still fails, Pro turns off and your data stays.

Refunds

Within 14 days of your first purchase we refund you, no questions asked. See the refund policy.

What you may and may not do

You may use Chatsavo for personal and work tasks. You may not:

  • share, sell or publish your key, or bypass the device limit or key checks;
  • modify or decompile the extension or embed its code in other products, except where the law explicitly allows it;
  • use Chatsavo to break AI sites' rules, other people's rights or the law.

Follow the rules of the AI sites you use and respect copyright in the material you save and export. You are responsible for the content of your chats.

How the extension works

  • Chatsavo reads only the chats the AI site's page loaded for you and sends no extra requests of its own. Chats are deleted on an AI site only on your explicit, confirmed action.
  • AI sites may change their interface. We ship a fix as a new version of the extension, usually within a few days, but cannot guarantee any particular site will always be supported. If a site can no longer be supported, data already saved in the extension stays with you.
  • Chat texts are stored in your browser. Use "Download everything (JSON)" in the extension settings before removing the extension or clearing your browser profile. This version can restore Chatsavo JSON files up to 25 MB; larger files are still complete data exports but are not importable by this version.

Warranty and liability

Chatsavo is provided "as is", and we fix bugs we learn about. We are not responsible for AI sites, their availability, model answers or the consequences of using them.

Our liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the last 12 months. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it and does not restrict your statutory consumer rights.

EU consumers

If you live in the EU, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content. When you activate a key, you ask us to start providing Pro immediately; our 14-day no-questions refund for the first purchase applies in any case.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms by publishing a new version on this page at least 14 days before it takes effect. Changes do not worsen the terms of a period already paid for or of lifetime purchases.

Termination

You can stop using Chatsavo at any time: remove the extension and cancel your subscription. We may block a key that is shared publicly or used in breach of these terms; otherwise a key works for the whole paid period.

Disputes and governing law

The law of the seller's country of registration applies, unless mandatory rules of your country of residence give you more protection. Please write to hello@chatsavo.com first; we reply to complaints within 10 days.
