Easy Folders was one of the first folder organizers for ChatGPT and Claude. In 2026 it was renamed Sortbase: the old Easy Folders Chrome Web Store listing now leads to "Sortbase – One AI Workspace". If you were looking for Easy Folders, this is it.

Where Sortbase is stronger
- More sites today. Sortbase works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok. Chatsavo today covers ChatGPT and Claude; Gemini is coming in the next updates, and
- Sync. Your folders are available on several devices. Chatsavo has no sync yet; data lives in one browser.
- Track record. Easy Folders has been around since 2024, with a settled, simple interface and many users.
If you work a lot in Gemini or Grok and need sync today, Sortbase is the more convenient option right now.
Where Chatsavo is better
- Search that understands word forms. "Sales report" also finds "reports" and "reporting on sales". One-letter typos are forgiven, and a phrase in quotes is matched as a whole. Russian is fully supported too.
- Search takes you to the message. Click a result and Chatsavo opens the chat and scrolls to the match.
- Fast. Across 5,000 chats, search answers in hundredths of a second: in our benchmark on a synthetic set, 95% of queries finish within 9 ms.
- Filters (Pro).

- Your data doesn't reach our server. Folders and chat text stay in your browser. Our server receives only your key, a random device ID, the browser and the extension version; chat text — never.
- Price. Chatsavo costs less, and ruble payments arrive at launch. Exact prices are on the pricing page.
- Russian AIs on the way. GigaChat and Alice are coming in the next updates. Sortbase doesn't support them.
What Chatsavo doesn't do yet
- Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Perplexity, GigaChat and Alice (next updates);
- sync across devices (later, end-to-end encrypted);
- bulk actions;
- quick prompt insertion with "/" and a prompt library inside the extension;
- export to Markdown and other formats (the full JSON download already exists; restore is supported up to 25 MB);
- tags;
- "continue in another model";
- auto-sort rules.
How to switch
There is no folder import from Sortbase yet, so the move is manual.
- Keep Sortbase on while you move. Even if your subscription has ended, your folders there stay viewable, which makes them a handy reference.
- Install Chatsavo and open ChatGPT or Claude. The Chatsavo panel appears on the left.
- Recreate your structure. Click "New folder" for each top-level folder. For nested ones, open a folder's menu and choose "Subfolder" (Pro, up to 5 levels).
- File your chats. Drag a chat from the site's list into a Chatsavo folder, or choose "Move to…" in the chat's menu.
- Fill the search. Chatsavo saves a chat's text when you open it. Open your important old chats once and they become searchable by text.
- Check it. Press Alt+Shift+F and search for a word from the middle of an old conversation.
- Download your data in settings: "Download everything (JSON)". Files up to 25 MB are restorable in this version; larger files are export-only.
